Qualifications

  • Medical Degree from an Accredited University

  • New York and New Jersey Medical License

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

  • Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve

  • Excellent communication, bedside manner, time management and organizational skills

  • A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System

Responsibilities

  • They will work to expand the virtual primary care office to be available for patients through a robust telehealth platform, making themselves part of a growing network of providers that will practice on the cutting edge of virtual medicine

  • They will be expected to provide longitudinal care as well as acute care for patients who present with same-day needs

  • The physician should be amenable to working EVERY Saturday and Sunday

  • If full-time work is desired, candidates can add Fridays and Mondays

  • Must be willing to work every Saturday and Sunday

  • Provide medical care in high-functioning, supported, virtual care environment

  • Using a lens of equity in all aspects of patient care delivery, education, and research to promote policies and practices to allow opportunities for all to thrive and reach their potential

  • Serving as a role model confronting racist, sexist, or other inappropriate actions by speaking up, challenging exclusionary organizational practices, and standing side-by-side in support of colleagues who experience discrimination
